you can get basic cPanel and WHM setup option in your cPanel Account, mention the IP address you wan to poin to name servers and setup the new name servers. If you are new to this then Ask your hosting provider to set it for you. As it is basic level of technical support issue, the team should not charge you for this. you can even see some knowledgebase or tutorials online.

whatsmydns.net lets you instantly perform a DNS lookup to check a domain names current IP address and DNS record information against multiple name servers located in different parts of the world.

To oversimplify it, name servers allow people to find websites on the internet. Name servers store IP addresses (A addresses) and other records so your website can be routed to your hosting server properly.
You most likely will be using either your web host's name servers or your domain registrar's name servers. They could be the same company depending on how you have it setup. You only name your own name servers if you are creating private name servers, which you probably aren't doing.
Find out where you want to host your website first. You may not need to change your name server settings. You may only need to change your A Address or CNAME record to have your domain point to where your website is hosted at.

Domain Name System is basically put like the telephone directory of the Internet. It helps us, the clients, monitor site names like pingdom.com or google.com, instead of remembering the IP-address that the PC needs to begin any type of correspondence.

Your host should be able to assist you correctly with setting them and in case you are having a cPanel / WHM configured to the server then follow the steps from the link below to configure it accordingly.

To make your website visible on the Internet, you need to point your domain name to your hosting account using nameservers. For more information, see What is DNS?
This information applies only to accounts hosted with us. If you do not host with us, you can use the information in Change nameservers for my domains.
Nameservers are assigned on a per-domain name basis. The same hosting account can have domain names that need to use different sets of nameservers.
Find primary domain's nameservers
Log in to your GoDaddy account.
Next to Domains, click Manage.
Click the domain you want to use, and then select the DNS Zone File tab.
The domain's nameservers display in the NS (Nameserver) section.
Changes to your domain nameservers can take up to 48 hours to propagate.
Find secondary/alias domain nameservers
Log in to your GoDaddy account.
From the Products tab under your name, click the Web Hosting bar.
Next to the account you want to use, click Manage.
From the More pull down menu, select DNS Manager. You should be defaulted to your hosting plan's primary domain.
To view the zone file for an aliased domain click 'Change Zone' after 'Zone File Editor.' You should see a list of your aliased domains.
Find the domain you want to view the zone file for and click OK.
If you are trying to confirm nameservers for an aliased domain you recently added, scroll to the bottom of the zone file until you see the 'NS (Nameserver)' section. The nameservers listed as (Informational) will be the nameservers the domain needs to use

The team "name server" refers specifically to a server that hosts DNS zone files. When an end user visites a domain, the DNS lookup first checks the name server provided by the domain, which indicate which server to check for the specific DNS records for the domain.

A name server is a specialized server on the Internet that handles queries or questions from your local computer, about the location of a domain name's various services.
A great simple way to think about name servers is using a phone book analogy. If you were trying to call InMotion Hosting you might have remembered our phone number, but more than likely you'd want to look it up before just guessing at numbers.
This same story is also true for the Internet and domain names. As an example you're reading this article right now on our
