LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) is the part of Google’s algorithm that will fold words into a matrix for analyses, for the purpose of identifying semantically related terms. Search engines apply this process through linking related words together by analysing how certain keywords on websites appear in combination with other related keywords, then correlating them to a particular theme or concept. LSI also allows search engines to better decipher websites to provide more relevant search results with higher quality content, free from keyword stuffing and spam.

LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. This technique is established to obtain the data by relating the word to its closest counterparts or to its similar context. E.g, if you are searching something with a keyword “Bike” it will show all the related things like classic bike, bike auctions, Honda bike, bike race etc.

LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. Latent Semantic Indexing keywords can make your content look more natural to search engines and users. Instead of using the exact phrase repeatedly throughout your text, you can use synonyms and other terms that are related to your content and have the same meaning with your target key phrase.

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is a system used by Google and other major search engines (Update: read here, thanks for the Tweets, guys) The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page.

LSI SEO, i.e Latent Semantic Indexing, is answer of search engine(Google) to regular keyword stuffing of many spammy websites in the world. Webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collected, combined and identified as the keywords for the page. In LSI approach, search engine not only uses meta tags and keywords appear several times, but it also looks for synonyms related to a particular word, and assign it as your webpage keyword and rank it higher than other sites competing for the same keyword.

Below are some tips to remember while doing LSI SEO:
The title of webpage is Car racing Games, it means your website must be about car racing games.
Never use excessive keywords since it leads to your website marked as spam.
Always use quality and unique content on your site.
Article spinning is not a good practice. Do away from that. If you have no idea about article spinning, ignore it anyway

LSI means Latent Semantic Indexing, Latent semantic indexing helps search engines to find out what a web page is all about. It basically means to you that you shouldn't focus on a single keyword when optimizing your web pages and when getting links.

I learned about LSI based SEO in year 2004. Latent Semantic Indexing is a technique which is associated with your content. I mean what you write and how google associates with different search terms.
Mobile is highly associated with phones. But mobile is something which is movable. Now the question is how does Google know it? That is LSI.

Latent semantic indexing adds an important step to the document indexing process. In addition to recording which keywords a document contains, the method examines the document collection as a whole, to see which other documents contain some of those same words. LSI considers documents that have many words in common to be semantically close, and ones with few words in common to be semantically distant.

Google and other search engines have already mentioned LSI factors multiple times and have dropped hints about this as a factor, however up until recently there has been no real evidence of these elements having any real major affect on the results.
