How to Generate an OpenSLL certificate from my PC?

Hi Guys,
I've recently switched to Ubunto 16.04.1 (x64) and I'm a newbie in Linux (i'm mentioning this cause i need very keen steps). So, I want to know that how could i get my OpenSLL certificate for my website that I planned to host from my personal server?
