When talking about responsive web design, what are the differences between the Mobile First and the Desktop First approaches? Where does each excel and what are some of the issues it leads to?

With Desktop-first approach, general styles are designed to make the site look good on larger Desktop screens. They should be overridden by media queries which are focusing INCREASINGLY SMALLER screens, but affect all devices. Where as with Mobile-first approach, general styles are designed to make the site look good on small Mobile screens. They should be overridden by media queries which are focusing INCREASINGLY LARGER screens, but affect all devices.

Responsive web design refers to the design that helps websites to adapt themselves in various portable devices like mobiles and tablets to access them. This helps to generate more traffic from various devices and build your search engine popularity.
