Hello friends,
I would like to know, What is Container based hosting?

Container Based Hosting is nothing but Virtual Private Servers, we can also called as Operating System Virtualization in which the virtualization layers run as an application within the operating system. The kernel of an operating system allows the existence of multiple isolated virtual machines, Such virtual machines are called as containers.
Containers are high level isolation, with many applications running under the host operating system, all of them sharing certain operating system libraries and the operating system's kernel and They provide a lightweight virtual environment that groups and isolates a set of processes and resources such as memory, CPU, disk, etc.,

Container-based hosting enabled multiple users to host applications in isolation to each other, those applications could be anything but hosting web servers was the primary use. The hosted environment looked like a complete working operating environment, it would have its own file system, network address, memory space, users and applications.
Container-based virtualization, also called operating system virtualization, is an approach to virtualization in which the virtualization layer runs as an application within the operating system (OS).

The answer that makes sense to you will depend on your background.
I have no idea about Kyup and where you can get it.
Hope the following helps.
Containers are a bit like VM's (Virtual Machines) but lighter weight. The architecture differs from VM's (obviously).
If you explore how Docker works that will give you a good idea.
You could conceptually think of a "cascade" of hosting options:
Web farm with your site on multiple machines
Dedicated server with only your site
"Virtual" site running under the management of the web server, share hardware with other sites
Running your site on a VM
Running your site in a container

Containers are similar to simple hosting on the directory structure but are very different in technology. Containers hosting technology has an algorithm to study your incoming traffic and scale your servers accordingly without any glitches.

Container based are for instance, VPS hosting accounts, based on OpenVZ virtualization technology where you have own OS (e.g. Linux CentOS, Debian, etc.) installed, dedicated IP assigned and full root access to install any software you want. If you're looking for a low cost and reliable VPS, check these out - euro-space.net/vps-hosting
It is much better, reliable and private then if you compare with the shared hosting, where users are sharing same IP and operating system.

Basically this is Virtual server hosting, where a dedicated server is divided to many small virtual "inside" servers. If you want to use such hosting, check NextPointHost's Linux hosting (https://nextpointhost.com/linux-vps-hosting)

Its a VPS hosting services allows you to host multiple websites, applications, and to maintain backups. For best VPS hosting services visit vps9.net (https://www.vps9.net).

In my opinion, containers are the best choice if you're hosting your website on the webserver without any control panel. Container is faster then KVM vps for example.

container-based virtualization and application containerization -- is an OS-level virtualization methodology for deploying and running distributed applications while not launching a complete VM for every application. Instead, multiple isolated systems, referred to as containers, are run on one management host and access one kernel.

Containers are very different from simple hosting. This technology allows you to use more applications on a single server without the extra cost of more infrastructure.Containers keep an eye on traffic coming on your server. If your server starts getting more traffic that it can handle, then the container will automatically scale up. This mean container will automatically increase your server CPU numbers, RAM, Disk Space, etc.

I'd expect it to be cost neutral but you're paying for the aws management that comes with it. Don't. Spin up a small docker swarm on two (ideally three) hosts instead and use that. If you size the instances appropriately (t2 instances if you aren't already and can) then you can likely get more performant systems.

Container Based Hosting uses a run time engine which helps in scaling and connecting apps and data. It also helps in building of architecture which contains ideal deployment for each micro service and service mesh .

In computing, a container is an isolated user space in which computer programs run directly on the host operating system's kernel but have access to a restricted subset of its resources.

Organizations like Google which once ran a single Operating system on a hardware node now had the technology to run several instances of their operating systems in what was soon to be known as “containers”. This dramatically increased their available computer resources.

containerization or container-based virtualization are packages that rely on virtual isolation to deploy and run applications that access a shared operating system (OS) kernel without the need for virtual machines (VMs).

container-based hosting is an isolated instance created in a docker environment and hosted on the cloud with resources such as RAM, storage and CPU which can be scaled as needed.

Container hosting provides the ability for a web hosting company to run all needed hardware on a public cloud provider and develop a unique software stack for optimized web servers.

The main benefit of a container based host is that you will be able to fit more onto a server, do more computations with your existing gear, and just generally do more with less. This might seem too good to be true, so we’ll go through the fundamentals of just why container based hosting is such a great option for a large variety of users.
