Keyword Density means, the percentage of keywords that you are using in you article.
The right keyword density is 3% - 4%.
First count the words in your article and then calculate how many times you have used it.
see the formula below:

(No of keywords/Total no of words)*100%

Keyword density refers to the amount of a keyword you use in the content of your site or web page. To rank your site for perticular keywords and phrases, keyword density is important. Also, you should not use too many keywords or Google will consider this as keyword stuffing. Your keyword density should not be more than 2-3% of your total word count.

Keyword density means visibility of your keywords in your content. How much times your keyword has repeated. You should keep keyword density at natural level otherwise it will count under keyword stuffing which can be harmful for your website. Your keyword density should be 3-4% for better optimization.

formula to find out density of keyword:-
Keyword Density = (Nkr / Tkn) x 100
Where:

Density = your keyword density
Nkr = how many times you repeated a specific keyword
Tkn = total words in the analyzed text
