I would like to know, How does a shared plan host multiple domains?

You can host as many domains as you like on your plan. But each domain has to be registered, and that's not included in the cost of hosting. So basically, for every site that you want to host, you would create an addon domain. When you create an addon domain, it creates a directory (folder) under the public_html directory. For example, if your addon domain is addon.com it would create the directory public_html/addon.com and that is where you would put the files for addon.com
