There are several kinds of SSL certificates. Do you want a SSL for
- one domain/subdomain?
- multi subdomains?
- mobile devices?

We are going to start using Sites to capture some personal details, so this will facilitate using SSL in the form. We will want to use a custom domain name to mask the force.com site (eg. subscribe.ourdomain.com instead of site.secure.force.com)

I know that force.com has its own SSL certificate for *.force.com, however my concern is that if we override with a custom domain name, the browser will see an inconsistency between the URL (ourdomain.com) and the SSL certificate for force.com, and display an ugly 'exception' page (which most browsers now do - IE7/8, FF3).

Is there any way to get round this? Will this even be an issue with custom domain names? We are not in live yet so I can't properly test this case, however would be interested to get some feedback from the SFDC sites product team on this....................

Hello friends,
I am interested in SSL but my problem is that, How do I setup SSL Dovecot to use IMAPS and POP3S with Postfix certificates?

If you will use a third party credit card processor like 2checkout or Paypal, you dont need SSL, keep your money.

Well yes, but I have to ask my client for this, and then pass it on to the host, so if his private key does get copied, or intercepted in some way, I believe I would be within the line of liability.

Hey guys, quick question, Im going to be starting a youtube account for uploading montages and the like for Modern Warfare 2 and Im interested in quick scoping this isnt all Ill be making montages on but it seems to be flashy and what people like. This will, of course, take alot of practice and optimizing things like sensitivity and button / stick layouts for my playstyle, but my one thing that i have a quick question about is the so called "slap shot" where, to save the time of lining yourself up you just scope in and pretend to "slap" the enemy with your crosshairs when you fire. My main question is, how easy is it and what sensitivity should i use to make it most effective? I ask this because Ive seen some people like Hutch, TheMOODIEswede, and SmallBeans that just do it at insane speeds and it just amazes me how they get it like 9 out of 10 times with the sensitivity they have it set on looks like maybe from 7 to 9.

I realize this is a detailed one, but Im stumped here.

Im a student, and my course syllabi are provided as PDF files. Hence, I take i.e. type lots of notes on these documents.

When adding text notes onto PDF files, you click, drag, and create a boundary for your text. Easy enough.

But for some reason, the text you type is center-aligned in the box rather than aligned to the left.

Is there any way for me to align the text to the left?

The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security protocol used by Web browsers and Web servers to help users protect their data during transfer. An SSL Certificate contains a public and private key pair as well as verified identification information. When a browser (or client) points to a secured domain, the server shares the public key with the client to establish an encryption method and a unique session key. The client confirms that it recognizes and trusts the issuer of the SSL Certificate. This process is known as the "SSL handshake" and it can begin a secure session that protects message privacy and message integrity. Read our Beginner's Guide to SSL Certificates to learn more.
