The results generated with respect to optimization work on site alone like ON Page and OFF page optimization, then its called as Organic results. on the flip side, when you get results or clicks based on ads like PPC or other paid banner ads, then it is considered as paid results.

In organic search, the company can get traffic without pay. SEO activities get organic traffic.
In paid search company can pay only for the clicks. PPC is the paid traffic

Organic search results are listings on search engine results pages that appear because of their relevance to the search terms, as opposed to their being advertisements. In contrast, non-organic search results may include pay per click advertising.

Organic results are obtained from SEO process where the website is listed on the SERP for the keywords it was optimized. Paid results are obtained from Paid Ads on Search Engines where the ads will be displayed on the SERP for the keywords.
