Broken link or Dead link on the Wikipedia website shows that it no longer works and you use it for creating the backlinks for your website but you can only get the no-follow link.

Broken links are dead links. They stop search engines in effectively ranking your site.

1) An improper URL entered for the link by the website owner.

2) The destination website removed the linked web page (causing what is known as a 404 error)

3) The destination website permanently moved or no longer exists

4) The user has software or is behind a firewall that blocks access to the destination website.

5) The website owner linked to a site that is behind a firewall that does not allow outside access (such as an Intranet site or a restricted access area on a website).

No, Wikipedia is seo friendly site doesn't have broken links.

There might be some broken links on Wikipedia regarding to references that had closed their sites overtime.
