There are a number of tools you can use to identify broken links, many of them free.
Google Analytics is the best tool to check your broken links.

Broken links cannot be deleted by any software. You can disavow such links from your webmaster tools or correct it manually if you have its database.

Remember that redirecting and fixing broken links is an ongoing process. For the average website, once per month is an appropriate cycle. Another free tool we recommend is Xenu Link Sleuth. After you've installed the Xenu software and opened the tool, go to File – Check URL, and enter your website's domain

A good way to stay ahead of the broken link game is to sign up for Google Webmaster Tools. Google provides free tools to webmasters that will show you “crawl errors,” which include your broken links. You can see exactly how many you have and exactly which URLs no longer work, and can then work to fix your broken links issues.
