A canonical issue arises when 301 redirects are not properly in place. This means that your website can be accessed by search engines from several different URLs. This means that search engines can then potentially index your site under different URLs, meaning that it will look like a site of duplicated content.

Canonical issue is of duplicate pages, if by chance your site 2 page same content and different urls but you can't redirect it so their using canonical.

Canonical issue occurs when same landing page open with different urls. To resolve this issue use canonical tag on website.

Canonical issue arises when crawler gets confused as to which page to return to user when 301 redirects are not mentioned properly.

Canonical issues means your website have multiple duplicate URL. Canonical issues come from 301 redirect, when 301 redirect are not properly in place.

When a website several URL but content of all pages are same ie. called Canonical Issue in SEO.
