Hi,

We are using outlook 2007 on windows XP & Vista PCs. IMAP & SMTP account is configured in the outlook. Mail are working fine for incoming & outgoing. we are using it on more than 50 PCs, every week, SMTP Authentication got disable automatically from outlook & mails stops sending. When we manualy enabled SMTP Authentication, it starts working. After some time on another PC SMTP Auth got disabled. Pl. advice what we can do.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Have you asked your web hosting provider about that?
How POP/SMTP working?

You can try to check on the rules relating to the issue. Mostly it is on the server side why this is being experienced across all PCs.
Just curios on how do you deploy the mail clients on the PCs maybe you can also check the client side on how it is set up.
Let me know how it goes so I can further assist since I encountered this issue several times already. Just unchecking 1 box in server settings and it was solved.

You'd better ask the hosting provider for help on details of POP/SMTP of the server ,as well as the server reliability or if any changes have been made to the server.
