Keyword density is an important aspect of Search Engine Optimization which comes into picture while doing Keyword research and Analysis.

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword has been used on a webpage as compared to the total number of words on that webpage. Keyword density tells whether a keyword is relevant to a webpage or not.

Just make sure that you don't do Keyword Stuffing. Their is no hard and fast rule for Keyword density.

It should be 2.5-3.0%, not more than that.

To calculate keyword density - divide the number of times that you have used a specific keyword by the total number of words in the text that you are analyzing and multiply the result by one hundred to achieve your percentage

Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly.My advice that try to include your keywords without worrying about the 3 to 4% keyword density.
