On October 8, 2024, the 8th meeting of the Subcommittee on Customs Cooperation of the Ukraine-EU Association Committee in Trade Configuration was held. This subcommittee, established under the Association Agreement, focused on Ukraines progress towards European customs standards. The Ukrainian delegation, led by Vladyslav Suvorov, presented the ongoing customs reforms, emphasizing the National Revenue Strategy and the Digital Development Plan. The EU side acknowledged Ukraine's significant progress in digitalization, anti-corruption measures, and customs system reform. Notably, Ukraine's efforts in implementing the NCTS system and the Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) program were discussed. Additionally, the meeting addressed cooperation with the European Anti-Fraud Office, intellectual property protection, and the exchange of customs information.
