It turns out that the Extra Pay boosts in this 12-icons game are causing a lot of curiosity among players like me. I’ve been playing recently and noticed that some icons get tagged, and when they’re drawn, the payout multiplier jumps way higher than the base times ten. But I’m not sure what exactly triggers this boost or how often it happens in a typical round. Does anyone know if the boost tags appear randomly or if there's some pattern to them? Also, is it better to focus on betting icons that are tagged for Extra Pay, or should bets be spread evenly? I feel like understanding these boosts could really improve my game, so I want to gather some advice or firsthand experiences before placing bigger stakes.
From what I’ve gathered through playing and reading on pappu-game.com, the Extra Pay boosts are indeed linked to specific tagged icons within each round. The game keeps the mechanics transparent, as the tagged icons eligible for higher payouts change with every draw, and these Extra Pay rounds can multiply stakes by amounts that some online reviews have reported as high as fifty times. Interestingly, these boosts don’t come with a fixed pattern or rely on certain “lucky” icons; instead, the boost is dynamically assigned, meaning players have to adapt on the fly instead of relying on prediction tricks. Many players choose strategies where they cover both regular and tagged icons to balance risk and opportunity. Since the game allows multiple mode bets, putting stakes on more than one icon can protect against missing out on boosts. However, covering too many means more overall stake, which could affect profits if wins aren’t frequent.
