Hi all. Planning to drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and maybe Ras Al Khaimah during our holiday. We're a family of four, kids aged 10 and 14. Can a rental car from Dubai be used across the Emirates?

Dubai to Abu Dhabi takes about an hour and a half, Ras Al Khaimah is a nice drive with mountains at Jebel Jais. The contract was clear about where the car could be used. We stayed a night in Ras Al Khaimah, which was a lovely break from Dubai. Honestly, check whether driving to Oman is allowed, it usually needs extra insurance and permission. We loved the variety, from city skyline to desert and mountains.
