The problem with long events: how do you keep guests around for a long time?

Basically, every time we organize something big, we plan for guests to keep coming throughout the whole day. But every time we run into the same problem: after a couple of hours, people start leaving. Is that normal, and should we come up with something to keep them here?

What do you mean, keep them? I feel like your goal as an organizer is to get as many guests as possible to show up, come in, and check out what’s on offer. What’s the point of them hanging around all day if they can see everything in a couple of hours? Besides, I can’t spend all day at events like that. I get tired, and my phone dies, and I can’t live without it.

Actually, the problem of being tired and having a dead phone is what I think organizers should tackle first. That means setting up comfortable places to rest, maybe quieter ones, where people can take a break without leaving the venue. Commercial Mobile Phone Charging Stations can solve the dead phone problem, and you could even combine them with the rest areas. I think that’s important, because we’re all so attached to our phones now, and when one dies, we try to find a spot with a charger as fast as we can.
