I think at the moment, they're giving out tons of promotions. I still have to check on the promotion codes though.
Hostgator is not bad but it doesn't actually look that professional. I used lots and lots of shared hosting from hostgator but for vps, i prefer sites like vpswebserver.com. They are actually professional.
