How many Links we can Insert in Web Page Content?

I am not talking about link Farm but if our web page content is around 400 words then how many links maximum we can put?

If you are inserting external links, then keep it one or maximum of 2 for better optimization. But if you are inserting internal links then try to keep it within 5 at the most.

This is my personal opinion as i submitted a content, 2 links are enough!

If you are talking about external link, you will give maximum 4 or 5 external link. Inbound links are very important to get visitors on the site.

External links can be used for 4 times in same content of a web page.

My experience said maximum 3 backlinks is good.
