Difference between bookmarking and social bookmarking?

Bookmarking is when you mark a web page that isn't on a social site for later viewing and social bookmarking is when you mark a web page on a social website for later viewing.

Bookmarking means save any web page in our database.but social book marking increasing raputaion our web page by social sites.

Social Bookmarking is a similar to bookmarks. Bookmarking we can add links or bookmarks to our favourite Web Pages and save them on our computers. But these links are limited to only our computers, we can’t access these links on another computer. Social Bookmarking Remove this problem. I think that bookmarking is just save in your own personal computer there just you can see but when you save your favorite link on social bookmark site that time you allow every body can see your link. it is main different between bookmarking and social bookmarking
