Well if we are talking about the other hosting providers I can name some that are rock-solid - gazzin.com, 800hosting.com and mmhosting.com.

Amzon provides few cloud based storage / web service platforms.

www.joyent.com & rightscale.com offer cloud computing.

I see large list of the companies enough for good directory. I hope that will be useful for our members here

This may be a very basic question ... but what's the difference between cloud hosting & hosting? Is it superior to the current web hosting? I've googled it, but the explanations I was getting didn't really clear my confusion up.
