I think this question shouldn't be here,people who come in this forum mostly are familiar with website.They know basic knowledge about website building maybe don't know how to.

Web Designing is a concept which is broad in scope and acts as the necessity of the businesses evolving on the platform of World Wide Web. Web designing include managing the website's text, images, sounds and other content, and may be interactive.
There is also good design and bad. Designing is not just visual, but also mechanical. There are bot's that index your page and if they have nothing to eat you will not be listed. The user has to be able to navigate the site without scratching their head. If you can do those two things and have a product or service others want you will have what I would call a successful design. And not everyone is going to have the same results it is a trial and error business. What works for one industry will not always work for another.
