Considering only the server specifications, the cost is much reasonable.
Thank you. What else do people need to know other than server specifications? I know what we usually mention, but could you tell me what else you were thinking of?
These may also help,
1, RAM?
2, Customer Support - Whether Provided 24x7?
3, Reboots - Whether Provided 24x7?
4, Server Monitoring - Whether Provided 24x7?
5, About Hardware Failure Replacements?
Yes those do help. Thank you theheavenly.
Which company offered you this server? What is the OS and what control panel do they offer?
ASP-Hostinc.ca -- No this wasn't offered to me by anyone. eBoundHost is just trying to figure out what kind of dedicated server to offer. With those specs above, we're going to use Linux and Plesk. I was just wondering whether people thought it was a fair deal.
Thanks,
I've never used Plesk before. Is it a good cp?
Yea Plesk rocks, we can't figure out why people use cPanel so often. Try it out, they have a demo.
We also use Plesk and find it a fantastic control panel, really easy to use yet extremely powerful.
How does Plesk compare to DirectAdmin? Any thoughts?
I got a server from www.esecuredata.com a couple of months ago and this is what I got for $59/month plus $199 setup fee - P4 3.0, 2048MB RAM, 200GB HD and 1000GB Bandwidth. Celerons for $129/month seems way too high to me when you can get a P4 for less.
Plesk compared to DirectAdmin... Plesk is more stable. The only complaints are that Plesk is more confusing to use and that DirectAdmin is a lot easier to use, but it just depends on whether you get used to it or not. The reason we ended up with Plesk is because of stability.
Thank you turner for letting me know about your server. I am curious, how did you go about choosing eSecureDate.com?
I disagree, I still believe that Plesk is the easiest control panel to use, everything has nice little icons, is separated according to control panel functions, it couldn’t be easier to use a control panel.
Thanks for your replay.Quote:

My choice always sticks to H-Sphere. It doesn't need any other service or software to get the system completed. Its a stand alone system and its always best for me.
Dedicated services allow you to host your site and only your site on one server. Dedicated hosting is simply a server located in a data center somewhere in which you have complete control over, and hence is “dedicated” only to you.Dedicated hosting autonomy afforded andafforded to dedicated hosting.
Thank's to spend your time to share. This is what I (and others, I believe), really need. It's really very informative post. Please keep it up. Looking for more relevant post.
Hello friend,

Thanks
Thanks for the nice sharing. i will use this dedicated server.
As you said, Plesk is easy to use but it depend on the user. If you are a programmer you would like to use DirectAdmin.
Guys, When going for a Dedicated Server you should be very careful. First you need to give priority to the security of your Server.
