Is there such review? Plesk 7 vs ensim 4? Any experience with them both?
anyone? don't be afraid - it won't hurt:)
ensim 4, it's working fine in UNIX, but for windows:mad:
never try Plesk 7..;)
Have not used Plesk 7 or ensim 4 in a production environment but for Windows servers I definitely prefer Helm. We started using Helm at 1PlanHost.com last September (2003) and our administrators and customers love it.
What I like about Helm the best is the ability to distribute new signups over multiple servers rather than just one server at a time.
Best Wishes for a .Net Success!
We use HELM too, but we are not happy with it :(.
Lots of bugs and problems so far.
H-Sphere was much better, but we switched to HELM because we didn't
want to manage Linux servers (H-Sphere requires linux control server).
We have not had any problems with Helm for a year now. You may want to consult with Jim Hunt at http://www.alertserv.com who is an expert with Helm to work out any problems.
Best Wishes for a .Net Success!
I work with Jim, and he is aware of all those problems... :)
Finally, I've some experienced in Helm control panel. My opinion, it's easy to use, nice design and layout but it's a little slow.
Ensim (Windows version) has very limited functions. For example, the software cannot manage DNS on other servers. You will need to run the DNS on the same server. I've heard that helm has some bugs. Never tried them.
We use Plesk 7, it seems to be great, it’s fast and has nice interface which allows you to clearly distinguish different configuration options at a quick glance.
plesk 7 is ok - but I prefer the WHM / Cpanel combo over plesk, maybe it's because I have worked with it more . . Helm I find a little cumbersome, but it's most requested for our windows users .
In terms of popularity I would rate the various panels as
1) Cpanel
2) Plesk
3) H-Sphere
4) Ensim

Amar
No idea about the ensim or plesk. : q :
but Cpanel is one of the best. :)
The design looks nice. I'll test it a little later today.Quote:

H-Sphere(Psoft enough said) Bonus they have Billing built in
C-Panel Always needs to be patched
Ensim never touched it curious though
Hope this helps.
The best Linux control panel in my opinion is DirectAdmin. It's much better than CPanel...
Eventually, I've few experienced in Helm mechanism panel. My judgment, it's comfortable to use, metropolis decoration and layout but it's a short largo.

Lastly, I've some skilled in Helm user interface. My viewpoint, it's simple to use, awesome style and structure but it's a little slowly.
Finally, I have encountered Helm control panel. As for me it is really simple to utilize and great design as well as layout but it is somehow slow.
I like the WHM / Cpanel combo over plesk. The reason may be I work more with it. Helm I find a little cumbersome, but its most requested for our windows users.
Thank u for suggestion
I have to say that the control panel that you are talking about in here has very limited functions and this is what I have to share these days.

For Control panel shootout use Plesk 7. It is good and faster. You can differentiate dissimilar configuration options at a quick look. You must use it.
what are those applications you are talking about plz explain
The idea is something that is both unique and great at the same time. You can never think of anything like this and yet it is very good too. This is really going to help a lot.
I've heard that helm has some bugs. Never tried them. For example, the software cannot manage DNS on other servers. You will need to run the DNS on the same server.

There are several advantages that you may enjoy on these things. It is good for the taste and people just love having it more and more.
Plesk usage in many of todays servers that run on Windows OS generally have to be much better. The Helm proves to be a good alternative for the whole matter now.
We really do use Plesk 7, it appears to be boundless, it’s firm and has pleasant interface which permits you to obviously decide diverse configuration choices at a quick peek.
The hosting websites offer a good and user-friendly control panel. I find that hostgator control panel is the best among all. What do you think about this?
I perform with Jim, and he understands of all those issues...
I really have not recycled Plesk 7 or ensim 4 in a making environment but then again for Windows servers I without doubt have a preference for the Helm.
Please share your views on this. I need to learn from you guys. There are lots of aspects of this to learn. Thanks a lot for your suggestions.
we use Pesky 7, it seems huge, it's fast and beautiful interface, allowing you to clearly distinguish between the different configurations options in a quick glance.
You simply can not have anything better than this. You will enjoy the experience so much so that you will not feel like leaving it. You are sure to fall in love with it.
