The main reason for our customers to choose or not to choose Windows (but by now we stopped Windows plans all together) is the use of Access and MS SQL databases. If a customers does not need to use either one, but can go with MySQL, then there is no need for the expensive and more easy to hack Windows server, then Linux is what works best.

im going to be very short with my reply, if you needed windows hosting, you would no, so chances are linux will be just fine for you, and personally i preffer linux over windows for hosting :)

In Windows Hosting the server used has windows OS while in Linux hosting, server has linux distribution OS (mainly CentOS).
