magento is good. IF you deal with simplehelix.com for example it is possible to get it included into your plan at once...
May also say the osCommerce or other free carts should be avoided. They are not very hack-proof.

My first choice would be Magento cart because it's a booming open source technology which gives complete flexibility and control over the look, content, and functionality of an Online Store.
But at the same time open source can be flexible for the hackers as well
