The process of writing a blog post for someone else’s blog is called guest blogging.This process does require some kind of process:
Look for quality blogs
Create a footprint as you will be using them on a regular basis
Create a relationship with blog owners
Provide them with content that will benefit them as well
Write in a manner that will garner good quality responses from readers; this could mean more guest post opportunities for you
You might even start getting paid for your posts if the bloggers benefit from your posts
Link Bait Ideas
Link bait is typically found in a format of completely unique content, which has relevant information for your readers. Something as creative as it is unique, such as an incredibly FUNNY video, will also get you juicy links.
Press Releases
When doing a press release it is very important that you optimize your releases. These releases could reach one of the most powerful PR sites and, if you have your content well optimized, you will receive some serious juice coming into your site.
How to do so?
- Target editors
- Target your audience
- Optimize keyword rich content
- Anchor texts linking back to your site (some press releases do allow it – do your research!)
- Apply Heading tags
- Apply keywords strategically in the copy
