Why is free web hosting not always a good idea?

I want to start my small online business & looking for hosting. Is free hosting good for small websites? what're your opinions? :o

They are good but you can't expect much from them. Support is fixed hours, website may have ads, server resources and configurations are limited.

Cheap web hosting will cost you more. Cheap is dangerous. It is unreliable. When there is an outage, there will be no one to answer your questions. There will be no rescue.

You question should be a web hosting service that costs less but reliable. A web hosting service that is futuristic with great 24/7 support.

I'd also check some cheaper providers instead. On free host downtimes are a common issue & you face quite a lot of limitations too
