DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) is an act established in 1998 that makes copying and uploading the same content, something that is not legally theirs, or posting something illegal, a crime. This includes all things like content that may be written, video, or photographs.

So, the copied ones are asked to remove that from their website but if they have taken their hosting from a DMCA Ignored Hosting provider with its servers in some DMCA Ignored countries, they will not be needed to remove any of the content, also not face any legal issue.
