Broken link allows you to access a webpage which is black or not working anymore. I think theres no use at all.

A broken link or dead link is a link on a web page that no longer works because the website is encountering one or more of the reasons below. An improper URL entered for the link by the website owner. The user has software or is behind a firewall that blocks access to the destination website.

Outbound connecting is basically connecting from your website page to another site page while Inbound connections mean connections from a webpage to your webpage. Outbound connections can enhance your site by giving valuable data to clients without you creating the substance.

A broken link is a hyperlinks a website which is linked to an empty or non-existent external webpages.
