You should find the features of the hosting that reach your requirements, the price is reasonable and the service is very good.I believe the kind of company is the best choice.

I want you to know that you alone are in the best position to choose the web host provider that will suit your needs just fine.

First of all, you have to know what you wanna acheive with your website. This will be your guide to picking the best host for your business. For example if you want to create a blog you need to find host companies that are best at providing blog services.

Don't go for a host simply because someone tells you that they have used it and it's good. Your need might be different from that of the other person.

First you need to look for a quality tech support

Second the uptime and server quality.

    Third the price.

    Hello
A website hosting company is very much essential for establishing your website presence. It is not sufficient to just create a website; you need to have a domain which is provided by a website hosting company. As there are many such companies around, some thought and consideration has to be used in choosing the right website hosting company.

A very important point to consider is the amount of support the company gives you. You have to choose a web host that gives a good response to any problem you have; and in other words, has a good support system with 24/7 live chat support.

Choose website hosting companies with 99% uptime.

The website hosting company has to have a minimum of 99% uptime, especially if you have a commercial website where you have to stay online continuously, without interruptions. In addition to this, the web host should have lots of web or disc space as there is always the possibility of you needing to expand your website over time.

Preferably, the website hosting company should offer you a web space of 1 GB so that you can add features and several scripts to your website if and when required. And if your web host permits you to hold multiple domains from an account, you definitely need more than 1 GB of disc space.

Choose the web host that provides you with a Cpanel hosting interface as it are easy for the beginner webmaster to use. With Cpanel, you can setup email accounts, manage files and databases and provide website hosting tools. In addition to this, Cpanel may also provide a system called Fantastico where installation of guest books, blogs and Wordpress is made simple.

Any bad web hosting service would trouble you for a long period. At first, try to choose a reliable service to get rid of the subsequent problems.

It is very important that your service be uptime. It means that you can access your account whenever you want to update your web pages, and your visitors can view your website whenever they type your website address. If your hosting service is not uptime it is real hell!

Just do a search on the google and check the reviews and complaints of that host give you a good picture.

Check out their web site - look for errors in spelling (not just one but a bunch), grammar, the look and feel, dead links, inconsistent information/pricing from page to page - that should be a clue as to the professionalism. [Thank God for spell check.]

If they have a free trial period - you might want to take it and setup a small test.

Enter a trouble ticket - see how it is answered, see how long it takes. (Many hosts give replys very quickly to sales tickets but very slow for support tickets)

Based on this and more you will form an opinion of the company - how does it make you feel? Don't be swayed by the "hype", go on facts. If you think they might be good for you then put them on your "short list". if you don't feel good about them - drop them - there is a reason you don't get a good feeling about them - even if you can't put your finger on it - if your not happy with them for some reason now it will probably carry over to after you have made a purchase from them. You might as well feel good about your choice. It will make you experience with the company that much better.

Test out support/customer service before signing-up with any host. Don't go with hosts that offer unlimited space that is not possible. Look for guarantees and hosts that are willing to provide around the clock chat support.

I'm currently with ezwebhosting.com and have had an enjoyable experience with a few downlfalls. Nothing major but I'm always looking around for alternatives just to keep myself in the loop.

I've heard a lot of good things about HostGator and I know that my host offers one click instillation of WordPress but for some reason it's not that easy for me. I'm not technically stupid but I think the host has something to do with it - another downfall.

Above all, you're right, make sure you don't pay too much for a host and make your that the host you choose offers most of this stuff including and especially a 99.99 uptime guarantee.

There's such a huge difference between the most basic and the most advanced hosting, so it completely depends on your site and what you're after. And then you need to prioritise with what's important to you. And ask yourself questions like:

Do you require plenty of support?
    What is your budget?
    Any other particular requirements?

If you only need basic hosting there are endless hosts who will do the job. If it's more advanced hosting you need then the decision will need more thought.

    Good Luck!
