Bounce rate is the percentage rate of visitors forthcoming to your website. Bounce rate is measured in either determining the number of people who visit your website but “bounce” before exploring other web pages other than the landing page or determining which users leave the website after only a brief time span, generally five seconds.

Bounce Rate tells what percentage of your visitors visit your blog but leave without going through your content or traversing other pages of your blog (i.e. they are just visiting landing page, and leave your site without opening second page of your site)This rate is shown as percentage.

The bounce rate is the percentage of people, who landed on your website, but instead of browsing further they exited your website.

It is the time which the user stays on your website and it calculated in Percentages, A decent bounce rate would be 60-70% If it is less than 60% then its definitively a good bounce rate. My site Propertyadvisor will have bouce rate in between 60-70% check site for any inputs

Bounce rate is calculated by the total number of one-page visits divided by the total number of entries to a website.
