    Hi
I have created segments to remove spam referral traffic. The only inconvenience is that you will have to select this segment manually everytime you log in GA.
    Below are the easy steps
    1) In the main board click on "New segment"
    2) Select "conditions" below advanced
    3) Set filter as Exclude. Change Ad Content for Medium and contains for "exactly matches" and type and select "referral" in the text box.
    4) Click "ADD"
    5) Change ad content for "source" and contains for "matche regex" and type all the referral spam sites like this example.com|pqr.com
    6) Save the segment
With these steps you will get the analytics data free from referral spam
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

Within Google analytics, open your reporting view and click on Add Segment, when select New Segment. This new segment should be called No Spam or something to that effect. Then, select Advanced Conditions on the left side. Select “sessions” and “exclude” in the filter options

To remove spam from your existing GA reports, you can create a Custom Segment. Go to Acquisition > All Traffic > Channels. Click on the Secondary Dimension box and enter “Source / Medium.” At the top of this page, click, “Add Segment.”
