Go to: Google Search Console and log in
If you haven't already, add and verify the site with the "Add a Site" button
Click on the site name for the one you want to manage
Click Crawl -> Fetch as Google
Optional: if you want to do a specific page only, type in the URL
    Click Fetch
    Click Submit to Index
Select either "URL" or "URL and its direct links"
    Click OK and you're done.

Google's URL submit is very quick and easy. Just go to Google's web page for URL submitting , type in your URL, type in the message that ensures Google you are an individual not a software robot and click "add URL." You can also submit your site map to Google via their Webmaster Tools .

The simplest way to submit your new and updated URLs is to verify your site ownership on Search Console. After you verify, use the Sitemaps report to see which sitemaps were processed for your site, any processing errors, or to submit a new sitemap for your site.

Its 2020, and google will crawl your website even if you dont submit to google.

Using google search console will give you that added advanatge to know how google see your site. Creating a sitemap is very simple these days and if you are using wordpress you can do it easily with plugins.

To submit your website to Google, you can either add an updated sitemap to your Google account, or submit an indexing request for the desired URL through Fetch as Google. Both processes require site owners to register with Google Search Console.

There are two ways to submit your website to Google. You can either submit an updated sitemap in Google Search Console or submit the sitemap URL using Google’s “ping” service. Both options are completely free and only take a second.

Option 1. Submit your sitemap in Google Search Console
Log in to Google Search Console
    Go to the right property
Click “Sitemaps” on the left menu
    Paste in your sitemap URL
    Click “Submit”

Google operates a “ping” service where you can request a fresh crawl of your sitemap. Just type this into your browser, replacing the end part with your sitemap URL:

    http://www.google.com/ping?sitemap=<complete_url_of_sitemap>

For example, if your sitemap is located at yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml, you’d navigate to:

    http://www.google.com/ping?sitemap=h...om/sitemap.xml

You should then see the “sitemap notification received” page.
