PageRank is an algorithm used by the Google search engine to measure the authority of a webpage. While the details of PageRank are proprietary, it is generally believed that the number and importance of inbound links to that page are a significant factor.

A google page rank is an algorithm which ranks web pages on a scale from 1 to 10. That's what it is in a nutshell. Quality and quantity of links to a webpage determine a relative score of that page's importance and authority on a 0 to 10 scale.

Page rank is a rank between 1 - 10 that shows the sites important. This is decided by how many links from other sites point to your site. Also, higher profile pages linking to your site are better than low-quality sites linking
