Link juice is slang used to describe and measure how much power a backlink passes onto another site and therefore strengthens it.The more link juice that flows from a linking to a linked site, the more emphatic this recommendation is.

Link juice is slang used to describe and measure how much power a backlink passes onto another site and therefore strengthens it. If a website references another with a link (DoFollow), it transmits its positive properties to an extent (e.g. PageRank, TrustRank) and therefore gives a recommendation from the point of view of the search engine. The more link juice that flows from a linking to a linked site, the more emphatic this recommendation is.

Link Juice" is a slang term referring to how powerful a certain link (within a site or from one website to another) is or could be. The idea is that a link from a well known website that is trusted by the search engines will pass more "juice" than one on a pointless directory.

Consider a link to your website like a hose. The hose is watering your "garden" with either healthy or unhealthy "juice," or "link juice."

The quality of juice coming in to your website is directly proportionate to the source of the link. Good links might be a link from Huffington Post, a bad link might be from a crappy directory site.

Hope this helps. By the way, it's not the quantity of links coming into a site that give it authority, but the quality of those links. Make sure they're "juicy."

Link juice is a colloquial search engine optimization term describing the value of traffic to a page. The number and quantity of those links ascertain the composition of this hyperlink juice. Hyperlink juice is regarded as an important element for ranking highly in Google.
