The latest google algorithm update, which will be a Broad Core Algorithm Update like the one released in March, will officially be called the June 2019 Core Update. It is the first time that Google is pre-announcing the launch of an Algorithm update.

    Hi Friends,
Unconfirmed Google Algorithm Update – November, 27, 2019
There is a major tremor in some algorithm trackers and this could be an indication of another core update that could be as significant as the one rolled out on November, 8, 2019. The are a few algorithm trackers that have picked up the heat and some are just showing a little spike as of 27th. We will keep a close tab on how this new Google Update will impact the ranking fluctuations.

The Quality Update (or the Phantom Update) was a confirmed change to Google's core ranking algorithm – specifically, how Google assesses quality signals. Websites with content quality issues, as well as too many ads, seemed to be impacted the most by this update.

Google announced the BERT (which stands for Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) Update, calling it the biggest change to Google search in the past 5 years.
Google uses BERT models to better understand search queries. Google said this change impacted both search rankings and featured snippets and BERT will be used on 10 percent of the U.S.

    This is what Google said:

“These improvements are oriented around improving language understanding, particularly for more natural language/conversational queries, as BERT is able to help Search better understand the nuance and context of words in Searches and better match those queries with helpful results.

Particularly for longer, more conversational queries, or searches where prepositions like “for” and “to” matter a lot to the meaning, Search will be able to understand the context of the words in your query. You can search in a way that feels natural for you.”
