There is no data available for India, to the best of my knowledge. In the USA, it was found in 2017 that hardly one in a hundred blogger made more than $100 in the entire lifecycle of their blog. It is expected that the figure would be smaller or equal to that.

    Hi Friends,
It's very difficult to guess the average revenue being generated by Indian bloggers. It will be very less compared to other countries bloggers specially in comparison to US, UK or other developed nations.

The hard truth is that most of the people fail to earn anything and they give up very soon. The rest 1% are hard working. They are determined to learn and execute things. Those are the people who are generating good revenue in blogging.

There are number of posts that you can find on Google giving you names of few top bloggers and they earn in lakhs. It's all because their traffic is way high than average bloggers.

Another survey, this one of 1,500 ProBlogger readers who said they're trying to make money by blogging, found that 9% make between $1,000 and $10,000 a month and 4% make over $10,000 a month. But the vast majority makes less than $3.50 per day. (Most of these were blogs less than two years old, though.)

Average bloggers earn nothing. To earn money from a blog you need to be outstanding, not average. You need to run it as a business, have a plan, a strategy and a narrow focus market. You need to promote the blog like crazy and you need to market it as though it were a product in its own right. Then you can earn money from it - and those who do can earn millions. But most blogs on the web are dormant because their owners dreamed of millions but received nothing.
