Hi Friends,
If you have a brand new blog it can take weeks. However, you can speed up things by setting up a Google Search Console account and adding your sitemap.
Another thing you can do is visiting high traffic blogs in your niche and leave a useful blog comment. High traffic blogs get indexed really quickly and if you have a link to your blog from a huge blog, then Google would find your site too.
Forums can also help you get indexed quickly. Join a forum in your niche, participate in the discussions. You will get link back in your signature file. Getting indexed in Google and other search engines does not mean that you will be on page #1. To be on page #1 takes a lot more work.

Depends on when Google crawls your site but you can speeden up the process through Google Search Console by submitting your XML sitemap and requesting a crawl.
