Hi Friend,
Yoast is good for on-site SEO, but it is still just a part of the picture. The main thing of course is to provide great content. It's also helpful to make sure your WP theme is written in valid semantic HTML and that you maintain that in your posts.

Wordpress offers a lots of plugins to use according to the website need. But yes, if we talk about the most important basic things then Yoast SEO is best. There are several options available in Yoast SEO like meta tags, slugs, focus keywords, sitemap generation, canonical etc.

No Yoast SEO is not enough for Wordpress you should also use few other plugins.

I am using Yoast free, not premium because the multiple focus keywords feature is pretty much useless, redirects can be setup using free redirect plugins, and nothing in Yoast Premium directly improves your SEO.
