    Hi Friends,
PPC stands for Pay Per click. It is a format of advertising online where you pay for clicks. It could be on any platform, like Google, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter etc. However, Paid search ads only refer to the ads you create where people search for ads on any search engine like Google or Bing.

    Hello swatijain,

PPC stands for Pay Per click. It is a format of advertising online where you pay for clicks. It could be on any platform, like Google, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter etc.

However, Paid search ads only refer to the ads you create where people search for ads on any search engine like Google or Bing. People search for keywords, and if you have targeted those keywords your ads will show and when people click on these ads, you pay for these clicks.

Paid search ads is a subset of PPC advertising.

In case you have further questions, or you would want to get your hands on understanding the basics of Google PPC ads for FREE, please enrol here to get a full access. Its FREE.

The difference is the network on which your ad appears and also how your ad is shown. For example, display ads are disruptive, meaning in the Display Network that your ad can appear on the screen of someone who wants to base your product or service on their online history.

The search network is intentional, meaning that if a searcher is specifically searching for your product or service, your ad will appear in the search results.

I hope this will help to you .

PPC stands for pay-per-click, a model of internet marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it's a way of buying visits to your site, rather than attempting to “earn” those visits organically. Search engine advertising is one of the most popular forms of PPC.
