    For html You don't need to install anything.

    You can write your html in notepad editor, visual studio code and many more.

    You can also practice on online editor also like fiddle etc.

    Notepad++ is the best, just write your HTML code in it then save to disk and upload on server via FTP client like Filezilla for example. Of course there are also available WYSWYG editors which "produce" html code during clicking in the graphics editor but truely its far, very far from this how HTML code should looks like. If you want to have clear HTML code use Notepad++ if you are using Windows platofm, or CotEditor if you are using MacOSX
