    Hi Friends,
Notepad is suitable for writing html because it's capable of writing plain text, as opposed to a rich-text editor like Microsoft Word or WordPad,HTML-NOTEPAD is not a “web page editor”. Don't even expect to create “cool web pages” with it.It is a free HTML editor, has one clean and convenient interface, supports syntax highlighting, word-wrap and multi-file tab pages, a rich editing environment.

An HTML document is a plain text file that can be created or modified with any word processing program that can handle text. However you must save your file in text format because a browser will not read normal word processor documents.
A much better plan though is to use, Notepad because it is a very simple text editor that you will find easy to use for editing your HTML documents. Notepad's File menu contains the traditional Open, Save, Save as and Close options that you have seen in other programs.

When you Save as, be sure to enter the filename followed by the .html extension. e.g. page4.html
