Not necessarily. Basically, keyword cannibalization is bad when you have similar pages (~duplicate content) that rank for the same keyword. If you have categories on your website then the situation is different. The term appeared at the need of SEO experts to define a specific situation.

If you target same keywords for different posts, search engine spiders couldn't decide that which page is right one upon a search term while users done for search a particular information.

Yes! Keyword Cannibalization is basically the use of same keywords in multiple blog posts/pages. It makes those two pages compete with each other in SERP. If you are taking special efforts for SEO, this may sabotage them pretty bad. There are different types of keyword Cannibalization

    Sub-domain conflicts
    Internal Keyword Cannibalization
    International Cannibalization
    Semantic Flux

That's a bad idea, if you are thinking to focus a keyword to multiple web pages, posts.

How will Google know to rank the relevant page for each keyword? Not necessarily. Basically, keyword cannibalization is bad when you have similar pages (~duplicate content) that rank for the same keyword. If you have categories on your website then the situation is different.

Having the same keyword targeted on multiple pages of a website doesn't make a search engine thinks your site is more relevant for that term. When multiple web pages seem to be too similar, it can actually send out negative signals

In such case, you can use multiple keywords (key phrases) instead of just one for a page. Based on description, content and other parameters, let the search engine decide which webpage they rank for a keyword.
