It's a little-known fact that you can use Google to host a website for free using the company's service designed for web apps. The trick is to use Google App Engine to take advantage of 1GB of bandwidth per day and 1 GB of free storage space.

Hi Friend,
Google does offer website hosting. You might be confused by some of the other answers because some people are referring to Google Cloud Hosting and others are referring to Google Sites.
They are two completely different things.
Google Sites is something you can set up for free. It’s limited in features, but you can set up a clean mobile responsive brochure website with it. Not great for SEO and probably better intended as an internal Intranet… but I’ve seen some reasonably decent implementations of simple sites.
Google Cloud is another thing completely. It’s a completely different beast, and basically Google’s offering to compete with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft’s Azure. If your tech-minded then this is an immensely powerful platform.

Technically, Google does not provide free hosting solutions, but they do provide a Platform As A Service (PAAS) known as Google App Engine (GAE).
