Do Google hire hackers?
Hi Friend,
Google Hires A Star-Studded Team Of Hackers To Fix The Internet. This article is more than 6 years old. Say hello to Project Zero, Google 's new crack-squad of hackers (or 'security researchers' as Google describes them) who have been hired to find and fix bugs on the internet.
Yes, they do hire ethical hackers for “penetration testing” which basically means that the hackers have to try and hack the software made by Google to ensure there are no security flaws.

Google will hire you as a security research expert or an ethical hacker if you are able to find any extreme vulnerability which can cause the company a solid financial loss.
Google doesn't specifically hire hackers, but they do look for security experts with advanced technical skills, including ethical hackers, to improve their systems. I'm also curious about how someone might land such a role—seems like an interesting field to explore!
Google, like many tech companies, hires security professionals, including those skilled in ethical hacking, to strengthen their systems. If you're interested in this area, a great resource to explore is Immuniweb's web application penetration test https://www.immuniweb.com/resources/...ation-testing/. It's an excellent way to test web application security, and their expertise can help identify vulnerabilities before they become a problem. By applying best practices, you can grow your skills and potentially position yourself for roles in companies like Google that value robust cybersecurity talent.

Google definitely hires people with strong security skills, but "hacker" is a broad term. They're looking for ethical hackers, security researchers, and engineers who can help protect their systems, not malicious actors.

They hire white hat hackers. Pen testing is incredibly important and they need people who are good at it ie. hackers. Although, your job title wouldn't necessarily be "hacker"
