    Hi,
The personalized ads are a result of cookies and an IP address. Cookies are text files in your browser that track information you've searched. Your IP address is kind of like your house address and shows where you are located. The balance between both of them is what gives the information to advertisers.

    Hi,
Facebook doesn't know what you search on Google.

Companies set up remarketing campaigns with companies like AdRoll, Criteo, Google, etc. where everyone you visit their site a code reads your IP address which allows them to follow you all over the internet with advertisements on websites that also partner with these companies.

Facebook works with many different remarketing softwares which means if you visit a site that has that software set up, you'll see their ads on Facebook.
