A link (short for hyperlink) is an HTML object that allows you to jump to a new location when you click or tap it. Links are found on almost every webpage and provide a simple means of navigating between pages on the web. Most text links are blue, since that is standard color web browsers use to display links.

Highlight the text that you want to link.
Click the Chain link icon to the left of the U.
A pop up will appear for “Link Info”.
Choose your “Link Type” (set link to internal page, a URL, phone number).
Click “Target” if you want to set how this link will open (ex. pop up window or a new page).

In computing, a hyperlink, or simply a link, is a reference to data that the user can follow by clicking or tapping. A hyperlink points to a whole document or to a specific element within a document. Hypertext is text with hyperlinks. The text that is linked from is called anchor text.
