    Hi,

Hyperlinks and URLs. A hyperlink is a certain kind of "clickable" text or graphic, which the Web browser generally responds by loading a new Web page. A uniform resource locator (URL) is a special address that uniquely identifies a Web page on the Web.

A link is nothing but a chain that connects pages within websites and without links there’s no website

A hyperlink is a link that takes you from one domain to another via references called anchor texts.

Links are not the same as URLs, though sometimes people say "link" when they mean "URL." For example, "Type the link into your web browser." A link is a snippet of text that has been associated with a URL. If you click on that text you are brought to the page that the URL points to.

URL is an abbreviation that stands for "Universal Resource Locator." It's another name for a web address, the text that you type into your internet browser when you want to go to a website. A URL works like a house address. If you give someone a house address, they can navigate to find a home or business.

A link can be any text or image that you can click on that takes you to another page or file, either on your website or elsewhere on the internet.

Nothing between the angle brackets is displayed except for the text "Link to Page". Thus, when the text "Link to Page" is clicked it takes one to the embedded URL reference which is within the brackets.
Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) consist of a protocol, a colon, a domain or IP address, a port number, the resource path and, optionally, a fragment identifier.
